Article 1. General
1. These conditions apply to every offer, tender and agreement (participation) of a student, from this point onwards referred to as “the Student" and a (local) Make a Move Committee, hereinafter referred to as "Make a Move", in which Make a Move has declared these conditions to be of application, to the extent that parties have not explicity diverged from these conditions in writing. These conditions are applicable for all events organized by Make a Move 
 
2. Make a Move organizes the Career Week at the 9 national cities Amsterdam, Groningen,Maastricht, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Twente, Utrecht, Wageningen and Nijmegen. During this Career Week students are offered the opportunity to attend company presentations, individual interviews, workshops and a business lunch / dinner.
3. Company presentations, networking lunches and networking drinks are non-CV-selected activities.
4. CV-selected activities are: individual interviews, workshops, business lunches and business dinners.
  
Article 2. Registration / Preparation
1. The registration process consists of:
1.1. Filling out the online registration form at www.makeamove.nl by the Student;
1.2. Receiving the confirmation email sent by Make a Move.
2. To register for the CV-selected activities the Student has to send his / her CV to Make a Move within the allotted time.
3. By selecting a CV-selected activity the Student gives Make a Move permission to send his / her CV to the company under consideration.
  
Article 3. Selection
1. Make a Move obliges itself to bring the Student's CV to the attention of the companies the Student has selected.
2. The selection of students is not performed by Make a Move, but exclusively by the participating companies based on the students’ CVs.
3. Make a Move assumes no responsibility for the fact that a student is not selected by a company that a student has shown interest in.
4. In the case of conflicts in the Student’s schedule, Make a Move will attempt to bring this conflict to the attention of the Students. However, Make a Move holds the right to resolve conflicts in schedules on its own. Make a Move will not enter into discussion about the final schedule of a student and the activities for which he / she is selected.

 

Article 4 Participation
5. The Make a Move Committee will send the final schedules at least 5 days before the start of the Career Week to the Student.
6. Make a Move will inform the Student at least 5 days before the start of the Career Week about the necessary practical information regarding location, etc.
  
Article 5. Termination Clause
This agreement can be unilaterally canceled by both parties in writing, in observance of the following:
1. Participation in the Career Week can be canceled at latest 3 weeks before the start of the Career Week without any charge.
2. If participation is cancelled less than three weeks before the start of the Career Week, 50% of the entry fee will be reimbursed by the student.
3. If participation is canceled after sending the Student's personal schedule, the full participation fee will be charged from the Student.
  
Article 6 Payment
1. The Student agrees that the entry fee is collected by the Make a Move.
2. The entry fee will be collected before / after the Career Week.
3. For pricing and an eventual penalty system, the Student must inform him- / herself on the city page of Make a Move Career Week for which he / she wishes to subscribe.
  
Article 7. Privacy Statement
1. Make a Move highly values careful treatments of the users of www.makeamove.nl. Personal data will therefore by handled carefully and securely. 
2. Make a Move will not distribute your personal information to third parties, unless you personally permit us to do so.
